A fast-growing real estate investment and asset management firm is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join its high performing finance team.
This role is ideal for an experienced fund accountant with a strong commercial mindset and a passion for property.Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will be responsible for end-to-end fund accounting for a portfolio of real estate assets and property trusts.
This is a hands-on role offering scope to influence processes, drive system improvements, and support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Oversee full fund accounting cycle across multiple trusts and property assets.
Monitor and manage cash balances, banking, capital expenditures, and budgets.
Lead monthly reporting including dashboards, variance analysis, and commentary.
Liaise with external bookkeepers; review AP/AR and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with loan facility requirements and manage covenants.
Prepare annual financial statements, tax returns, and investor tax documents.
Provide financial input for acquisition feasibilities, settlements, and investor reports.
Collaborate cross-functionally with asset management, investor relations, and external parties.
Continuously improve financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
Requirements: Proven experience in fund accounting within property, investment, or asset management sectors.
Strong knowledge of property-related financial processes including acquisitions and leasing.
Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with tools like Power BI, Forbury, or Estate Master is advantageous.
Understanding of complex legal entity and fund structures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to partner effectively across departments.
