This role is perfect for someone who thrives on project-based work and enjoys building strong client relationships. As an Onboarding Support Specialist, you'll be the critical link between newly acquired clients and the MSP's service delivery teams. You'll lead client onboarding projects spanning 2-12 months, ensuring seamless integration of new clients into the company's managed services environment. This isn't a traditional break-fix support role – you'll be working strategically with clients to understand their business needs, standardise their environments, and implement solutions that genuinely improve their operations. Comprehensive Employee Assistance Program for personal wellbeing Regular social events and team bonding activities Employee of the month recognition programme with prizes Staff discount on IT equipment purchases Flexible work arrangements and work-from-anywhere allowance Great team culture with experienced mentors and collaborative environment Exposure to cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and manage client onboarding projects from initial discovery through to successful handover Transition newly acquired clients into the company's managed services environment Integrate company tools, systems, and processes into client infrastructure Conduct stakeholder and client meetings to gather requirements and provide updates Manage Microsoft 365 licensing, configuration, and administration for new clients Lead Microsoft Teams calling implementation projects including deployment and migration Design, configure, and deploy cloud-based email signature solutions using tools like Exclaimer Provide Level 2 technical support during onboarding phases Collaborate across multiple internal teams (technical, support, projects, management) Develop bespoke solutions tailored to specific client needs and requirements Create Power Automate flows to gather and collate client data Build PowerBI visualisations to transform and present data for clients Develop VBA macros and Excel solutions for client-specific requirements Manage SharePoint data migrations, site establishment, design, and architecture refinement Collect, document, and communicate technical and project information clearly to clients Standardise client environments according to best practice frameworks Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout onboarding journey Ensure smooth handover to ongoing support teams upon project completion Document onboarding processes, configurations, and client-specific requirements Innovate and recommend process improvements for future onboarding projects Role Requirements: 2-4 years of experience in IT support, project coordination, or client onboarding roles Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships Experience working in an MSP or similar client-facing technical environment Demonstrated problem-solving skills and creative thinking for bespoke solutions Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple teams Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Customer-focused mindset with commitment to client satisfaction Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs and project requirements Full driver's licence (occasional client site visits may be required) Australian working rights required Technical Requirements: Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) Microsoft Teams voice/calling configuration and deployment SharePoint administration (site design, data migration, architecture) Power Automate flow development PowerBI for data visualisation and reporting VBA macros and advanced Excel skills Cloud-based email signature management tools (Exclaimer or similar) Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID Migration tools and methodologies Ticketing systems and project management platforms Remote support tools Understanding of MSP tools and processes (RMM, PSA, documentation platforms) Basic networking and security concepts Backup and disaster recovery solutions (desirable) Understanding of compliance frameworks and best practices (desirable) We appreciate your interest in this opportunity.
