About the Role
This is a senior leadership position responsible for managing multiple residential construction projects from site commencement through to handover.
You will be the face of Maruti Homes on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.
We are looking for a hands‐on leader who is willing to lead by example, build strong relationships with trades, and maintain the high standards our clients expect.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise custom home and townhouse projects from start to completion.
Coordinate and oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and trades.
Ensure projects are completed on time.
Conduct quality inspections throughout all stages of construction.
Monitor compliance with OH&S requirements and building regulations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, trades, and suppliers.
Resolve construction and scheduling issues efficiently.
Review plans, specifications, and construction documentation.
Assist with estimating, procurement, budgeting, and cost management.
Maintain accurate site records and project reporting.
Mentor trades and subcontractors while promoting a positive site culture.
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 10 years' experience in residential construction supervision.
Strong trade background, preferably in framing, carpentry, or residential construction.
Proven experience managing custom homes and townhouse developments.
Sound understanding of residential construction methods and building regulations.
Estimating and cost‐control experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and problem‐solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Current White Card.
Willingness to travel across Melbourne's western and south‐eastern suburbs.
A hands‐on attitude with the willingness to get involved and lead by example.
Highly Regarded
Certificate IV in Building & Construction or higher.
Domestic Builder experience.
Experience with construction management software.
Knowledge of procurement and contract administration.
