About the role:
Our Trade Centres operate differently to our retail sites, providing a delivery and pick‐up solution for key building lines and bulk materials to building sites. They partner with our commercial customers, helping them manage projects with a 'whole of build' solution.
This is a Casual role requiring flexibility to work morning, day and evening shifts Monday‐Friday to best serve customers.
We stock core builders' lines, allowing customers to build from the slab up – timber, fibre cement, cladding, windows, doors and appliances. The Trade Centre's pick/pack and delivery of bulk products are handled outside the store, letting stores focus on customer experience.
What you'll do:
* Pick and pack orders with precision and care
* Load and unload products on delivery trucks using machinery (high‐reach & counter‐balance forklift) as required
* Ensure orders are dispatched in full and on time
* Replenish stock to keep operations running smoothly
* Use equipment and machinery to safely move stock and organise products
Who we're looking for:
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
* Accuracy and attention to detail
* A current forklift licence would be ideal, although not essential
* Experience in warehousing, dispatch of deliveries, or picking and packing of orders (or voice picking) is ideal but not essential
