About the role
Westside Radiology is seeking a skilled and experienced Locum Sonographer to join our dynamic team in Adelaide and NSW for short-term/ locum position. This is a part-time/ casual/ flexible position, offering the opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment. A fly-in/fly-out option is available for the right candidate.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal scans
* Providing high-quality diagnostic images and reports in a timely manner
* Maintaining accurate and comprehensive patient records
* Collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures and safety standards
* Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the radiology department
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualification in Medical Sonography or equivalent
* Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sonographer, preferably in a hospital or private radiology setting
* Proficiency in performing a wide range of ultrasound examinations, with a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology
* Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
