Roller Operators Wanted – Civil Construction & Road Maintenance

We're currently seeking experienced Roller Operators to join our clients' teams across major civil construction and road maintenance projects throughout Adelaide and regional SA.
These roles offer consistent work across asphalt crews, subdivisions, bulk earthworks, drainage, and road maintenance, with opportunities to grow and upskill within well-established civil contractors.

About the Role
This is not a machine-only position — applicants MUST be willing and able to labour as a key part of the daily duties. You'll support both the crew and the machine operations to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently, and to standard.
We are seeking operators with experience across:
* Smooth drum
* Multi-tyre
* Padfoot rollers
* Asphalt and general road construction environments

Key Responsibilities
* Operating rollers safely and efficiently across civil and road maintenance projects
* Supporting asphalt and road construction crews as required
* General labouring, spotter duties, and assisting with ground works
* Compaction activities for roads, trenches, earthworks, and reinstatement
* Maintaining plant and equipment to a high standard
* Maintaining safe working practices and adhering to site procedures

What We're Looking For
We're after motivated and reliable operators who can hit the ground running and contribute to high-performing civil and asphalt crews.
To be successful, you'll need:
* RII Roller Ticket (essential)
* Experience operating smooth drum, padfoot, and/or multi-tyre rollers
* Willingness to perform labouring duties – essential
* Proven civil construction or asphalt/road maintenance experience
* Valid White Card
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* Strong understanding of construction safety requirements
* Ability to work outdoors, in a team, and follow instructions
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic
