Overview
Cook position within Adventist Senior Living at Avondale Care, Cooranbong, New South Wales. We have permanent part-time and casual hours, with shifts from Monday to Sunday, for the right candidates.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Assistant Catering Managers and the Hospitality Services Manager to deliver high-quality meals and drinks and ensure excellent resident experiences.
* Meet individual resident needs while maintaining efficiency.
* Manage shifts, plate meals, and ensure courteous and timely delivery, including texture-modified meals.
* Ensure compliance and care for both residents and the team.
Qualifications
* Previous experience within aged care or hospital hospitality settings.
* The right to work in Australia, without restriction.
* Reliable and punctual.
* High regard for cleanliness and hygiene.
* Fast and efficient in undertaking duties.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
* Thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment.
* Enjoy looking after people and being part of a supportive team.
* NDIS Worker Clearance, or willingness to obtain.
* Complete a pre-employment medical.
