Qualifications
* Availability: Monday morning, Tuesday morning, Wednesday morning, Thursday morning, Friday morning
* 2-3 years of relevant work experience
* Broad experience in the fire protection industry (minimum three years)
Responsibilities
* Assist in installation of fire protection systems as per design specifications
* Assist with work on protection systems including extinguishers, smoke detectors, sprinklers
* Assist in the set‐out of electrical and electronic systems as per design documentation
* Carry out required inspection and testing of equipment to ensure functionality
* Investigate and correct fire protection issues
* Check and ensure work complies with regulatory requirements
* Ensure installation elements conform to design specifications
* Carry out necessary equipment and system repairs as required
* Carry out necessary testing of fire protection systems
* Record keeping of installations, repairs and tests
* Maintain currency with regulatory amendments and technical advances
* Work effectively in a team setting and independently as required

Hours and Compensation
Full‐time: 40 hours per week. Salary: $79,040. Leave: Four weeks annual leave.
