Technical Services Superintendent Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting Site Project Managers and Mine Foremen with technical mining issues on site, analyzing mining physicals and site costs, and integrating with the client's technical services department.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures, and instructions.
* Take reasonable care for their own safety and that of other persons who may be affected by their acts.
* Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract/client schedules.
* Manage Quality Assurance Programs and prepare budgets.
* Assist with monthly claims preparation and interface with clients.
Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years' relevant underground mining experience.
* An Underground Supervisors Certificate of Competency or First Class Mine Managers (FCMM) Certificate of Competency.
* Demonstrated experience in a high-productivity underground contracting environment.
* A Senior First Aid Certificate.
* Proficiency in MinRep, Deswick, and Surpac software.
This role requires a strong understanding of technical mining operations and excellent analytical skills. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
