Physics Academic Opportunity
We are seeking individuals to share their discipline knowledge and convey concepts to students with clarity. As a casual academic, you will be expected to provide feedback in a timely fashion, develop and apply teaching strategies to support student learning, and foster caring, collaborative, and inclusive classrooms and laboratory environments.
About the Role
* Delivering practical and applied teaching sessions
* Marking and teaching support
You will work in a range of different settings and may have the opportunity to lead casual academic sessions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A strong academic background in Physics, normally achieving a GPA of at least 5.5
* At least 1 year of undergraduate study completed
* Completion of PHYS********* and PHYS**** (or equivalent)
Honours, Masters by Research and PhD candidates are encouraged to apply, as well as postgraduate coursework students with completion of at least one semester's full-time study.
What We Offer
This is a casual academic appointment with no firm advance commitment to ongoing or indefinite work. The casual rate will vary depending on the type of work completed.
