Position Overview

Property Manager / Leasing Transaction Manager

Responsibilities
* Manage a defined portfolio including property transitions, inspections, and compliance monitoring.
* Oversee finance, budgets, and rent roll management.
* Ensure building/statutory compliance and asset management.
* Monitor critical dates and maintain comprehensive reporting.
* Provide subject matter expertise on end-to-end property management.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and site contacts.
* Collaborate with the broader team to achieve account goals and objectives.
* End-to-end management of critical dates and key lease events.
* Negotiate new leases, renewals, licenses, and other use agreements.
* Manage market rent reviews and make-good negotiations with multiple stakeholders.
* Conduct market searches and deliver professional recommendations.
* Maintain accurate records of occupancy agreements and transaction matters.
* Provide market insights for client reports and presentations.
* Ensure compliance with approval procedures and maintain audit trails.
* Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Qualifications
* Australian Citizen – compliance with AGSVA clearance (please indicate existing clearance status).
* 3+ years of experience in property transactions and associated services.
* Tertiary qualification in Property, Real Estate, Business, Commerce, Law or equivalent.
* Current Real Estate License or Certificate of Registration.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to build relationships and rapport with varied stakeholders.
* For Property Managers: sound understanding of property operations, HS&E requirements and facility management principles.
* For Leasing Transaction Managers: sound understanding of commercial leases and ability to manage complex issues within tight deadlines.
* Ability to work in a hybrid setting and be based in Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane with capacity to attend office.
