As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless operations and exceptional patient care. Our state-of-the-art cancer care centre is seeking an experienced medical receptionist to fill a permanent, full-time position.
Patient Liaison: Welcoming patients, responding to calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling appointments. This role involves interacting with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent customer service and ensure smooth communication.
Patient Administration: Accurate data entry, billing, and record management are essential tasks in this role. You will work closely with our e-management system to ensure all patient information is up-to-date and secure.
Liaising with Hospitals: Building strong relationships with hospitals, specialists, and allied health professionals is crucial in this role. You will coordinate patient care, communicate effectively, and facilitate smooth transitions between healthcare services.
Collaborative Team Environment: As part of our team, you will support doctors, coordinate with nurses, and assist allied health staff to deliver high-quality patient care. Your ability to work collaboratively and maintain open communication channels is essential for the success of our team.
