Due to continued growth across Australia, Georgiou is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our project-based civil engineering teams. As part of a growing team with a commitment to excellence, you will be provided with challenging work on a wide range engineering and civil infrastructure projects starting with a large bulk earthworks and car park build.

What you'll do (but not limited to):
* Work closely with key stakeholders to develop effective relationships that facilitate the successful communication and implementation of Georgiou's HSE systems.
* Ensure project teams are adequately trained to perform their HSE responsibilities and provide ongoing coaching to ensure total compliance with internal HSE systems and legislative requirements.
* Support the business in the preparation of toolbox and HSE pre‐start content.
* Implement and communicate improvements and strategies in response to changes impacting HSE activities.
* Maintain and assist in the ongoing development of Georgiou's HSE systems.
* Influence a positive attitude and commitment towards safety across the business.
What you're good at:
Aside from having experience in a previous safety role with working knowledge ideally within the civil construction industry and chain of responsibility requirements, you should have demonstrated examples to showcase:
* Thorough knowledge of AS/NZS 4801, ISO 14001, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment Act & Regulations.
* Knowledge of Workers Compensation and Injury Management Act.
* Implement a personalised brand of exemplary safety behaviour.
* Continuously maintain the high standard of safety management policies and procedures in place.
