Centacare North Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation delivering counselling, family support, disability services, youth programs, crisis housing, education and community services across North Queensland.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead and support a small team to deliver community-based initiatives.
* Build strong partnerships with local services, stakeholders and community groups.
* Coordinate and drive projects aligned to community needs and program goals.
* Facilitate networks, committees and collaborative forums across the region.
* Support and guide community partners to deliver impactful outcomes.
You'll play a key role in shaping how services respond to local needs — and see the impact of your work first hand.
Qualifications
* Degree in Social Work, Community Development, Human Services or similar.
* Experience in community development, coordination or program delivery.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship‐building skills.
* Leadership capability — supporting, guiding and developing others.
* Ability to work in a culturally responsive way with diverse communities.
