About the Opportunity
A long‐term underground mining role offering a 2:2 even‐time roster, flights paid for FIFO workers, and modern, clean accommodation with sports and social facilities.
Role Responsibilities
* Perform workshop duties: servicing, preventative and scheduled maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics, major component change‐outs.
* Conduct field work: underground breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostics.
* Maintain a fleet of underground glider tractors (AGI), Sandvik cablebolters, spray rigs, IT (in‐field technicians) and a range of mine‐spec light vehicles.
Skills and Experience Required
* Heavy mechanical Certificate III (trade qualification).
* Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical fault finding and repair.
* Minimum 12 months underground hard‐rock mining experience (highly advantageous).
* Positive attitude, ability to work independently as well as within a team.
* Valid driver's licence.
Contract and Salary
Initial 6‐month contract through Marble, with the possibility of transition to the client's books after successful completion of the probation period. Pay is up to $ph, with weekly cycles when working through Marble.
