Store Operations Manager Position
Job Summary:
The Store Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of our retail store, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer service. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of store sales, security, and administrative functions, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations.
* BUILDING AND MAINTAINING STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS, PROVIDING TOP-TIER SERVICE AND TECHNICAL ADVICE ON PRODUCTS.
* Meeting financial objectives by achieving sales targets, managing operating expenses, and ensuring profitability.
* Work closely with the warehouse team to maintain inventory levels, manage stock control, and oversee merchandise presentation and promotional activities.
* DRIVING SALES THROUGH ACTIVE PIPELINE MANAGEMENT, PROVIDING QUOTATIONS, AND NEGOTIATING LARGE TENDERS OR PROJECT CONTRACTS.
* Coaching and developing the branch team, focusing on succession planning, training, and performance management.
* Fostering a zero-harm culture, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health & Safety policies and reporting any hazards.
* Managing store administration and interpreting company policies for team members.
* Conducting weekly team meetings and monthly reporting to the General Manager.
* Attending company events and seminars to enhance brand presence and performance.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field.
* 4-10 years in a retail management role or similar, with proven experience in managing branch operations.
* Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
* Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of Pronto Xi is a plus.
* Self-motivated with a mature attitude, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to safety and integrity.
