Location: Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Clare Hospital
Salary: RN/M2A – $77,824 to $106,187 p.a. (pro rata) + 12% super + leave loading + salary sacrifice
Employment: Temporary Part Time Contract (up to 30 April 2027)

Overview
Join Clare Hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, where you will support the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager in the operational and clinical leadership of the inpatient unit and ED, promoting safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
Responsibilities
* Provide proficient clinical nursing/midwifery care while supporting day‐to‐day unit leadership
* Assist the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager with staffing, rostering, leave management and workforce planning
* Support and guide nursing and midwifery staff, students and less experienced practitioners
* Promote evidence-based practice, quality improvement and safe patient outcomes
* Contribute to service coordination, patient flow and multidisciplinary collaboration
Qualifications
* Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Minimum of three years post-registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife
* Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to support and develop others
* Strong communication, organisational and problem‐solving skills
* Committed to culturally safe, person-centred care and rural health service delivery
