Speech Pathologist – Perth Functional Therapy Co.
Job Type: Permanent or Part-time, based at our Perth clinic. Eligible for full-time or part-time schedules.
About the Role
You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy to children and families, supporting them to achieve functional goals. The role involves assessment, individualized intervention, and partnership with multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify client needs and develop evidence-based intervention plans.
* Deliver therapy targeting speech, language, fluency, voice and/or swallowing goals.
* Monitor, measure and report on client progress.
* Collaborate with Doctors, Paediatricians, Psychologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, families and educators to provide holistic care.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional standards.
* Participate in team meetings, case conferences and professional development opportunities.
* Provide services through a hybrid model, including participant homes, schools, community settings, North Perth clinic and telehealth.
Qualifications
* Undergraduate or Master's degree in Speech Pathology.
* Eligibility for registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist, ideally within a paediatric clinical or community setting.
* Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport with participants, families and multidisciplinary teams.
* Strong commitment to high-quality, client-centred care.
* Confidence using electronic health record systems and relevant software.
