The Company:
An established and specialist supplier in calibration, medical and high-pressure cylinder markets is seeking an experienced Internal Sales Coordinator to join their close-knit team. They partner with premium suppliers and own several leading cylinder brands across scuba, paintball, air rifle and breathing apparatus sectors. The business is stable, customer-focused and offers long-term career opportunities.
The Role:
This is a full-time office-based role located in Newcastle. You'll be the front line for customers, managing quotes and orders, supporting technical sales enquiries, maintaining stock and product data and promoting the business via CRM-driven communications. The role is primarily internal but includes occasional customer visits.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare quotations and process customer orders
* Ship orders and follow up on outstanding quotes
* Manage and update contacts in the CRM system
* Support marketing & sales activity via email and social media campaigns
* Maintain stock levels and update parts in the ERP system
* Launch new products and maintain pricing spreadsheets
* Inspect cylinders for quality and compliance
* Occasional customer visits as required
About you:We're looking for a personable, resilient internal sales professional who is organised and enjoys relationship-based selling. A minimum 2 years internal or external sales experience is required to be successful in this role.
* At least 2 years' internal sales / account management experience
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
* Personable, strong communicator and team player
* Sales and customer relationship management experience
* Self-driven with strong follow-through
