About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, and working within the product management team, you will support the development of new mechanical products and systems for a B2B market. These products integrate with interconnected electronic technologies and are utilised throughout the world. This will be achieved by facilitating desirable product solutions that are feasible to engineer, commercially viable and provide value to their customers. Responsibilities include, but not limited to.
Drive, maintain and support the strategy + product roadmap for select tech categories
Facilitate product development / rationalisation and successful product launches
Undertake market research & VOC; provide insights and project justification
Drive technical documentation & marketing requirements
Act as a technical liaison to sales for new customer product placements, including presenting product, technology, and competitive analysis
Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role, you will bring.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or marketing and product management training
Significant experience in related B2B product / industry (mechanical / hardware systems)
Sound experience of product management or product development / marketing
Some degree of knowledge within Project Management (specifically using Wrike or similar)
Experience with regulatory compliance and certifications
Exposure to mechanical system design and development
