Our client is one of Australia's fastest-growing underground infrastructure services businesses, delivering critical water, power, telecommunications and fibre network projects across the eastern seaboard. Following recent private equity investment, the business is entering an exciting new phase of growth, combining organic expansion, strategic acquisitions, and investment in people, systems and infrastructure.
The organization are seeking to hire an accomplished CFO to help shape the future of the organization by building a best-in-class finance function that is scalable, growth-oriented and capable of supporting the ambitions of commercially astute founders and investors. Working directly with the Founders, Board and investors, you will drive strategic decision-making, lead acquisitions, secure funding, establish robust financial systems and governance frameworks, and support the business as it scales towards becoming a major national player.
Qualifications
* CA or CPA qualifications.
* Experience within infrastructure, construction, engineering, utilities, industrial services, mining services or other project-based environments.
* Strong commercial finance and business partnering capability.
* Experience with acquisitions, refinancing, capital projects or private equity ownership structures.
* The ability to influence operational leaders and non-financial stakeholders.
* A pragmatic, hands‐on leadership approach.
We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded CFO who enjoys building businesses, not just managing finance functions. You may currently be a CFO, Finance Director or a highly capable Deputy CFO ready to step into a broader executive leadership role.
