Role Overview
As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for managing and handling customer and brokers queries from initial enquiry through to approval of the loan.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing and handling customer and brokers queries from initial enquiry through to approval of the loan.
* Credit Analysis on applications up to $15 Mil.
* Reviewing loan applications and validating information for accuracy as per credit policy.
* Liaising with external stakeholders regarding applications.
* Follow-up on outstanding information and supporting documents, valuation reports, settlement instructions and loan contracts from internal and external stakeholders.
* Inbox and workflow management;
* Supporting the wider team.
What We Are Looking For
* A high attention to detail.
* Sound practical lending experience.
* Relationship management experience.
* Impeccable communication skills and the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
* An understanding of credit and loan processing.
* Proficient with MS suite and capable of learning new systems with ease.
* Team player - Not afraid to get stuck in and help in other areas of the business when needed.
* Banking and/or finance industry experience.
* Enthusiasm, focus and structure with strong organisational skills.
