Enterprise Network Engineer
Position Description
Protingent Staffing has an exciting contract opportunity located in Bellevue, WA.
Job Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and support large-scale enterprise network solutions.
* Act as a trusted technical partner for customers, ensuring smooth operations and quick issue resolution.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve network performance, reliability, and scalability.
* Troubleshoot complex routing, switching, and connectivity issues across diverse environments.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline network operations and configuration management.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's or Master's in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
* 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ISIS).
* 4+ years of experience in Linux/Unix environments.
* 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven customer-facing experience.
* Demonstrated ownership mindset with the ability to independently manage priorities and deliverables.
* Previous successful engagement with our organization is strongly preferred.
Job Details
* Job Type: Contract
* Location: Bellevue, WA.
* Pay Rate Range: $95-125/hr.
* Due to government contract requirements, this position is restricted to U.S. Citizens only.
