The Senior Site Manager on this $120m high rise project in Southport will be able to demonstrate their ability to:
* Supervise and oversee the direction of the project (or a package), ensuring that the client's specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
* Liaise with the client, other construction professionals and sometimes members of the public
* Coordinate and supervise construction workers
* Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety
* Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings
* Maintain quality control procedures
* Find ways to prevent problems and to solve any that crop up
* Assess and minimise risk
* Write reports and keep on top of paperwork
* Help to negotiate contracts and secure permits and licences

The Senior Site Manager will have the following attributes:
* Ideally a Construction Management degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
* Demonstrated experience working as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager for an established construction company
* High rise project experience is extremely attractive
* Ability to manage a team of Contract Administrators and supervisors
* Commercially astute
* Ability to effectively manage Industrial Relations
