Your new role as the Plant Mechanic will be reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.
Roster
5 days on / 2 days off, 10.5 hours (inclusive of a 30‐minute unpaid meal break)
What you'll do
* Complete rebuilds and component change‐outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment.
* Work on a variety of equipment, including D10 and D11 dozers, 992 wheel loaders, 24M graders and a wide range of models of off‐highway trucks (777F, 793F).
Skills & Experience
* Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic trade qualification.
* Caterpillar product knowledge, ideally component change‐out experience.
* Experience with Caterpillar systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) desirable.
* Dedication to a safe working environment and quality work for customers.
* Ability to work night shifts, additional hours and weekends/extra days as required to support the team.
* Ability to work within a team & autonomously.
