About the role
The role of Reception and Administration Support is to provide an effective and efficient reception/administrative service across Barwon Health sites and contribute to the overall performance of Barwon Health to ensure high quality customer service. A focus of this role is ensuring that the administration functions support the patient journey core principles of access and patient centred care with a high standard of quality
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day administrative and reception support to ensure efficient operations within the assigned area.
* Maintain accurate documentation, medical records and billing processes in line with organisational standards.
* Deliver a customer-focused service to patients, staff and stakeholders while supporting a collaborative and respectful workplace culture.
* Uphold privacy, confidentiality, information security and organisational compliance requirements at all times.
What we are looking for
* Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and respectful approach to customer service and confidentiality.
* Demonstrated experience in a busy reception or administrative environment, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work independently under pressure.
* Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft 365, electronic information systems, databases, and strong literacy and numeracy skills.
* Current Victorian Driver's Licence with reliable transport.
* Working with Children Check (if applicable)
