About The Role
As a CBRE Maintenance Technical Apprentice, you will develop on-the-job skills to maintain buildings, industrial systems, and equipment on an ongoing basis.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function.
Responsibilities include providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
We are currently hiring an Electrical Apprentice to join us and support Data Centre Critical Environment.
What You'll Do
Receive training from current operations team in proper job safety and repair procedures.
Observe operations team while they perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed building systems, equipment, and facilities.
Assist with servicing & maintenance of building equipment and systems.
Work with management to ensure energy management by taking measures to verify that all systems are operating in the most efficient manner.
Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
Follow a set procedure in the performance of repetitive tasks or job activities.
What You'll Need
High School Diploma, GED, or currently enrolled in a college program or technical school.
In progress Certificate III Electrotechnology Electrical/Air-conditioning & Refrigeration/Entry level off school Year 12.
Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs.

Ability to develop skills to perform basic activities in own job.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
