About the Role

South West Healthcare (SWH) is seeking a dedicated Administrative Support Officer (ASO) to join our dynamic Planned Surgery team (formerly Elective Surgery Services). In this role, you will be a valuable contributor in assisting with the preparation of patients referred for planned surgery by managing referrals, coordinating appointments, maintaining accurate data entry, and supporting clinicians to deliver exceptional patient care. This role is part of our broader Administrative Support team, whose contributions are essential to the success of the Nursing Services Directorate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing referrals and coordinating appointments.
- Data entry, reporting, and auditing waiting lists.
- Collaborating closely with clinicians to support patient care.
Position Details
- Permanent Part-Time (32-40 hours per fortnight) Monday - Friday (rotating roster)
- Location: Pre-Admission Clinic, 301 Timor Street
- Classification: Administration Grade 1
- Salary: $58,442 to $64,610 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuation
