Location : Brisbane or Canberra with occasional domestic travel.

Responsibilities
Provide technical support for the development, introduction, sustainment and evolution of software and hardware, data, tools and processes in fixed and deployed environments for Australian Defence Force mission planning systems.
Contribute technical input to the development of solutions that resolve data support issues for Mission Planning Systems.
Develop, manage and maintain software, hardware and system configurations for Mission Planning Systems.
Develop, install, configure and test mission planning software products.
Deliver Level 1, 2 and 3 application support to ensure all mission systems are operational and meet user needs.
Provide user, data and application support on Defence strategic networks.
Identify and manage program and technical risks and issues within the support to operations scope.
Review, verify and improve technical, engineering and cyber-security documentation produced in support of Mission Planning System development and sustainment.
Meet assigned tasks within project deliverables, managing associated risks.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Experience with Defence ICT environments (including Defence Protected Environment (DPE) and Defence Secret Environment (DSE)).
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Imaging, Windows Server and Desktop Operating System security, and administration.
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager – application definition, deployment and monitoring.
Administrative level understanding of Windows 10 & Windows 11 operating systems.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
PowerShell and Batch scripting skills.
Defence ICT security accreditation.
Desirable
Working knowledge of Aviation Mission Planning and the AC-C2CS environment.
MSI packaging experience
Knowledge of enterprise mobile device management software and iOS operating systems.
Experience in software development environments.
Database administration and development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Software testing experience, including unit testing.
Knowledge of hypervisor technologies
Experience with enterprise security platforms such as Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator.
Enterprise-level recovery and backup tools.
Geospatial data mapping and imagery skills.
