Salary: 86 hours per fortnight, Full Time, Max Term

Job Description:

* Deliver evidence-based care in a safe and timely manner in the Emergency Department in collaboration with other Senior and Visiting Medical Officers.
">
* Undertake appropriate and efficient assessment and treatment of patients presenting to the Emergency Department in accordance with triage categories and guidelines.
">
* Effectively communicate with all stakeholders to pursue a high standard of care and ensure appropriate continuity of care.
">
* Supervise and support medical and nursing staff who are more junior, consistent with their level of training and individual learning needs.
">
* Actively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requested.
">
">
Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
">
* Membership with the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM).
