Are you passionate about the insurance industry and thrive on analysing risks? We're seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team. With the training and support of the team around you, this role will eventually transition into becoming a Junior Underwriter, where you will be commercially astute in assisting in the evaluation and underwriting of strata risk, management of underwriting platforms and general underwriting queries. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to grow their career as an Underwriter, and beyond!

But first and foremost, we are looking for someone who can carry out the below responsibilities:

* Handling and prioritising tasks in the team inbox.
* Respond to Client Inquiries and relay messages to appropriate Team Members promptly.
* Answer incoming calls, emails and correspondence promptly and professionally to provide exceptional service to clients.
* Assist with completing tasks to expedite the underwriting process.
* Assisting the Underwriting Team with new business, renewals and general policy maintenance.

We are looking for someone who has perhaps worked in the insurance industry and has an understanding of underwriting and would like to grow their career and challenge themselves in this field. This position would suit someone who has strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a sales orientated mindset.

Additionally, the following experience would be highly advantageous:

* Ability to combine speed and accuracy in administrative tasks.
* Experience in use of Microsoft Suites (Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and CRM software.
* Understands intermediated general insurance and how it works would be beneficial.
