Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic individual to fill the role of Metal Trades Support Specialist. The successful candidate will provide valuable assistance to tradespeople in a steel/metal fabrication workshop, contributing to a productive and efficient work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to learn quickly, be mechanically minded, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for assisting with stores operations, materials handling, and may have exposure to welding or a trades environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to tradespeople, including Boilermakers and Welders, in a safe and respectful manner.
* Assist with inventory management, material ordering, and warehouse organization.
A key requirement is the ability to work effectively as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Preference will be given to applicants with a Forklift and MR License, but this is not essential.

* Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
