Page Seager Lawyers is home to the largest group of legal professionals in Tasmania with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client outcomes. We are seeking a senior, commercially minded leader to join our firm as Head of People, Marketing & Client Services.
This pivotal leadership role reports to the Chief Operating Officer and has responsibility for driving the firm's people and culture strategy, marketing and client engagement initiatives, client contract management and reporting obligations, and related business improvement programs.
It will lead the firm’s people function end‑to‑end, oversee brand and client communications, manage client contractual and reporting obligations, and identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and performance across these areas. You will work closely with the Principal Lawyers, COO and operational teams to ensure people and market positioning are aligned with the firm's objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* People & Culture
o Lead and implement the firm’s people and culture strategy
o Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance and development
o Drive workforce planning, succession planning and capability development
o Provide advice on employment legislation, policies and best practice
o Oversee payroll and HR operations
* Marketing & Client Engagement
o Lead all marketing, branding and client communication activities
o Prepare high‑quality tenders, submissions and capability statements
o Manage digital presence and client engagement initiatives
o Maintain consistent brand messaging across all channels
* Client Contract Management & Reporting
o Manage client contract registers and reporting obligations
o Coordinate client audits and compliance requirements
o Ensure accurate and timely delivery of client reporting
* Workplace Health & Safety
o Oversee WHS compliance, reporting and training
o Maintain WHS systems, registers and policies
* Business Improvement
o Identify and implement operational efficiencies and system improvements
o Support productivity, growth initiatives and cross‑practice collaboration
About You
* Proven experience in people leadership and organisational development
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels
* Experience managing marketing, client engagement or business development initiatives
* A track record of improving systems and processes
* High levels of professionalism, discretion and attention to detail
* Tertiary qualifications in human resources, business, marketing or a related discipline are essential
