The Information Security Analyst will provide technical security advice and support to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the BPC's information, devices, technology and infrastructure thereby protecting the BPC from emerging cyber threats. This role will also help administer and improve BPC's information and cyber security solutions by creating and updating policies and processes in alignment with ACSC Information Security Manual (ISM), Victorian Protective Data Security Framework (VPDSF) and other related security-by-design frameworks. What we are looking for * Proven ability to monitor, detect and respond to security vulnerabilities, incidents and threats. * Demonstrated experience in managing cyber security threats and vulnerabilities for medium to large organisations. * Highly developed technical security skills, troubleshooting advanced security issues with enterprise hardware, software and network solutions. About the BPC The Building & Plumbing Commission (BPC) is Victoria's new regulator for building and plumbing. It brings together the Victorian Building Authority (VBA), Domestic Building Dispute Resolution Victoria (DBDRV), and the domestic building insurance function of the Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) into one organisation. Key functions related to building and plumbing regulation will come together under one roof, including registration, inspection and compliance, practitioner discipline, dispute resolution, and domestic building insurance.
