Electrical Tester – Switchboards

We're seeking an experienced Electrical Tester to carry out testing, inspection, and verification of custom-built switchboards and control panels. This full-time role is based in Brisbane, offering stability, variety, and the opportunity to work on major commercial and industrial projects.

What will you be doing?
* Conducting testing, verification, and inspection of switchboards and control panels
* Performing continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional testing in line with AS/NZS standards
* Completing test sheets, checklists, and compliance documentation
* Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and client witness testing
* Identifying and reporting non-conformances or faults, and assisting with corrective actions
* Working closely with the production and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, right-first-time outcomes
What do you need?
* Current QLD Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter/Mechanic)
* Previous experience in switchboard assembly, testing, or manufacturing
* Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and AS/NZS 61439 standards
* Excellent attention to detail and fault-finding ability
* Commitment to electrical safety and compliance
* Ability to work collaboratively and follow documented processes
