Due to strategic growth, we are seeking to speak with a Principal-level BIM Modeller with a strong hydraulic background to join our National Building Engineering team.
This role can be based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.
How you'll make a difference
* Work in a multidisciplinary design services team providing services to clients in Defence, Healthcare, Aviation, Education, Commercial and Civil infrastructure projects.
* Be responsible for the management of all BIM related data requirements for projects throughout design and construction phases.
* Work closely with internal BIM Technicians and designers to produce drawings and models to achieve our clients' goals and key project performance indicators.
* Produce accurate reports to discuss with the Design manager on each project and work closely with our project controls team ensuring the management systems of projects are efficiently integrated.
* Use your knowledge of ISO19650 to facilitate multi-disciplinary coordination meetings.
Qualifications
* Technical Qualifications from an approved TAFE or education institution; or relevant building services related degree with ideally, 10 + years building services modelling experience.
* Ability to chair workshops with BIM project stakeholders demonstrating strong oral and written communication skills with an ability to create reports and VR presentations to effectively communicate with clients.
* Prior experience in Hydraulic or Wet Fire Protection disciplines is highly advantageous.
* Demonstrated experience in production high-quality, data rich Hydraulic models and documentation.
* Prior experience with Revizto is highly regarded. Previous experience to Navisworks, Dynamo and PowerBI is preferred.
Given the nature of the projects, Australian Citizenship is preferred, with current defence clearance highly regarded.
