Join our team in Perth and work alongside qualified turf professionals with extensive industry experience. You'll gain hands-on skills in maintaining and preparing sports grounds, operating turf machinery, irrigation maintenance, turf care and grounds presentation across a variety of sporting and recreational facilities, all while being supported by experienced mentors.

Responsibilities
* Assisting with the maintenance and presentation of sports grounds, ovals and turf surfaces
* Learning to operate and maintain turf management equipment and machinery
* Mowing, edging, line marking and preparing sporting fields for use
* Assisting with irrigation system maintenance and repairs
* Learning turf care techniques including fertilising, aeration and pest management
* Using hand and power tools safely and efficiently
* Complying with all Workplace Health & Safety requirements
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment
* Completing required training and coursework as part of the apprenticeship
About You
* Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* High attention to detail
* Physically fit and able to work in a hands‐on outdoor environment
* Driver's licence (or working towards one) preferred
* Genuine interest in sports turf, horticulture or groundskeeping advantageous

* Earn and learn - work towards your Certificate III in Sports Turf Management whilst earning a wage
* Ongoing support and mentoring from a dedicated WPC Group Mentor
