Client Implementation Lead
Responsibilities
* Serve as the face of the ADS organization, guiding the client through the Alpha journey and adoption.
* Provide thought leadership during due diligence and throughout the entire implementation journey.
* Act as the ADS Lead for all implementation activities with internal or external stakeholders.
* Lead the end‐to‐end implementation of the Front‐to‐Back (F2B) Alpha Data Platform (ADP) / ADS solutions, including pre‐contract due diligence, business requirements, solution design, environment setup, tracking of custom component development, testing activities, go‐live support, and post‐go‐live hyper‐care.
* Manage at least one large client implementation or multiple medium to small client implementations concurrently.
* Collaborate with Client Implementation Executives to align on Alpha implementation activities and communicate status to all stakeholders.
* Voice the client's perspective, continually assess and contribute to enhancements, software quality improvements, and other initiatives that improve the client experience.
* Manage resources in a matrixed organization, including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, Developers, and other support staff.
* Collaborate with external vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, MSCI, FactSet, and Axioma as needed.
* Maintain rigorous scope discipline, raising change controls as necessary to preserve program health.
* Partner with upstream application and system owners within State Street to integrate into ADP using the standard model.
* Work with broader State Street Application/Service Owners to provide solutions for new client requirements, including bespoke extensions of the standard service set.
* Affect defect resolution by collaborating with the development team to understand root causes of data issues and ensuring fixes are implemented.
* Establish standard operating procedures and ensure adoption, including any client‐specific bespoke processes.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills across all channels and levels, including C‐suite.
* Demonstrated motivational skills and ability to lead by example.
* Experience influencing staff in a matrixed organization.
* A strong commitment to teamwork, productivity, and diversity with a focus on work‐life balance.
* Extensive experience in Asset Management Data, Front, Middle, and Back Office services.
* Business Analysis and Project Management skills are a must.
* Proficiency in SQL.
* Knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, Service Catalogue, Data Lineage tools, Operational Dashboards, and Process Monitoring tools.
* Working knowledge of Azure cloud platforms and Snowflake is a plus.
* Experience with internal and external integrations, triaging issues, and recommending solutions to data problems and anomalies.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
* University degree in computer science, data management, or a related financial services technical field.
* 12+ years in data management, product, and market data roles and responsibilities.
