* Be the "umbrella" across Fusion5's largest transformation programmes
* Lead the architecture from bid through to realised outcomes
* Join our fusion5 Transformation & Strategy team and help customers go beyond
At Fusion5, we're more than a solutions provider - we're a Transformation Partner. We help ambitious organisations across Australia and New Zealand to go beyond software solutions, unlocking greater value, innovation and impact from their technology investments. We work side‐by‐side with our customers to deliver complex transformation programmes that support growth, change and operational improvement, connecting strategy, platforms and delivery across the whole organisation.
We're looking for aTransformation Architectto sit within our Transformation & Strategy team, working as the architectural "umbrella" on our largest, most complex client engagements - spanning multiple lines of business, workstreams and vendors.
About the Role
This is a seniorTransformation Architectrole focused on architecture and business outcomes through a solution and platform lens. You'll operate as the architectural 'umbrella' across complex client environments - ensuring the end‐to‐end architecture and platforms hang together, including integration and data platform considerations. Your role is to make sure what Fusion5 proposes and delivers continues to align to the client's real business objectives, not just individual workstreams or the project plan.
You'll be involved early in the lifecycle, supporting pre‐sales for large, cross‐business engagements by shaping architectural direction, contributing to bids and helping ensure proposals are coherent, achievable and outcome‐aligned. Importantly, the role doesn't stop once a deal is signed. You'll continue to work with the client and team post‐signature to ensure delivery continues to track back to the original transformation objectives - acting as the architecture voice across the programme as it progresses.
This is not a programme delivery, governance or people‐management role. You'll work closely with leadership and senior stakeholders, but your focus is architectural coherence and transformation outcomes at an enterprise level.
What You'll Do
In this role, you'll provide architectural leadership across the full engagement lifecycle. You will:
* Act as the Transformation Architect on Fusion5's largest transformation programmes, spanning pre‐sales bids and multi‐line‐of‐business delivery engagements.
* Consult with executive and senior client stakeholders to understand business strategy, drivers and priorities, and align enterprise architecture to enable transformation goals.
* Design and propose the overarching Enterprise Architecture, covering platforms, technology, integration, data and service operating model.
* Develop practical, "human‐consumable" architecture models and roadmaps that define target state, key steps, dependencies and organisational alignment.
* Serve as the architectural authority during delivery, ensuring architectural decisions remain aligned to business objectives throughout the programme lifecycle.
* Run architecture reviews and quality gates, identifying risks or misalignment early and ensuring the overall solution remains coherent.
* Work across Fusion5 lines of business to recommend the right mix of solution elements, ensuring nothing falls between the cracks as different workstreams progress.
* Partner closely with programme management and senior stakeholders to help align scope, pricing and deliverables while maintaining architectural integrity.
* Contribute thought leadership across emerging technologies including AI, cloud‐native architecture and composable enterprise patterns.
What You'll Bring
You're a senior architect who thrives in complex environments and can confidently engage at executive level. Ideally, you'll bring:
* Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, business solutions implementation and senior consulting roles, ideally within large transformation programmes.
* Proven success working across multi‐workstream, cross‐business engagements involving multiple platforms and stakeholders.
* Broad technology understanding across ERP, CRM, integration, cloud and data platforms, with strength in end‐to‐end architecture thinking and an AI‐first approach to solution design.
* Strong capability producing architecture artefacts and communicating clear, compelling architecture stories that link technology decisions to business outcomes.
* Experience supporting pre‐sales activity, including shaping solution direction, contributing to bids and influencing investment decisions.
* Confidence operating in ambiguity, with a pragmatic, outcome‐focused approach to architecture and risk.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the presence and credibility to influence C‐level executives.
* TOGAF (or comparable) certification, relevant tertiary qualification, and cloud platform certifications.
What's in It for You
At Fusion5, you'll be part of a collaborative, people‐first organisation where your contribution is recognised and your development is actively supported. You'll enjoy:
* Flexible working arrangements and a genuine focus on work‐life balance.
* The opportunity to influence large‐scale transformation outcomes across diverse industries.
* Strong investment in professional growth, learning and career progression.
* A high‐trust culture built on collaboration, integrity and shared success.
* Benefits including birthday leave, volunteer days and regular team and company events.
