About the Role
Based in Mackay and reports to the National Planning Manager, the Planning and Mobilisation Officer plays a vital role in supporting our field service operations by ensuring the effective coordination and deployment of labour, equipment, and plant across service, shutdown, and project work. Working closely with branch and regional managers, plant leaders, shared services, and external providers, this role is key to meeting operational requirements efficiently and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities,
* Plan and allocate resources for service, shutdowns, and project activities
* Maintain and administer site inductions, training records, and compliance documentation
* Coordinate travel, accommodation, and mobilisation logistics
* Compile, review, and audit job packs and associated project documentation
* Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
* Provide general administrative support to the branch as required
About You
We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented team member with hands-on experience in resource planning and mobilisation. The role requires strong coordination skills, a proactive mindset, and the flexibility to respond to breakdown situations, including occasional weekend on-call availability. Immediate starters are preferred.
Key Requirements,
* Experience coordinating logistics such as training, medicals, accommodation, and site inductions
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise effectively
* Confident in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and relevant planning tools
* Skilled in stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination
* Familiarity with workforce planning systems
* Exposure to service operations, mining environments, or plant and equipment (desirable)
