About The Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join a flagship program focused on transforming commercial operations, with a strong emphasis on underwriting rules, question sets, and process alignment.
This role has been brought forward due to increased program scope and the need for additional capacity. While varied BA backgrounds will be considered, direct experience working with underwriting teams or rules will be highly regarded. You will work closely with product and portfolio teams to shape the future state, ensuring alignment across business units before moving into delivery.
What To Expect
* Engage with product, portfolio, and underwriting teams to capture, analyse, and define requirements
* Work ahead of delivery teams to clarify product definitions and future‐state needs
* Operate primarily in waterfall during the design phase, with some later agile involvement
* Act as the sole BA in your squad initially while collaborating with other streams
* Partner with diverse stakeholders, influencing at all levels and managing challenging conversations
Key Requirements
* Senior BA experience within insurance – ideally commercial lines, underwriting, or portfolio work
* Proven success in gathering and defining requirements for underwriting rules and processes
* Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Ability to work autonomously in fast‐paced, high‐profile environments
* Experience in discovery and design phases, not just requirements elicitation
* Agile exposure beneficial, but comfort with waterfall is essential
