About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to strategic planning in the Port Macquarie Hastings area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for influencing strategic planning and providing direct input to council strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Stay up-to-date with legislation changes and advise on implications for planning staff and management.
* Prepare and progress planning proposals in accordance with legislation, policy, and guidelines.
* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and agencies.
* Analyse data to inform evidence-based planning policy.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need experience in complex strategic planning, strong project-management skills, and a proven track record of preparing and exhibiting planning proposals.
