Representing a significant and diversified portfolio across retail, commercial, hospitality and mixed‑use assets, this organisation is seeking a Director of Asset Management to lead strategic asset performance, operational oversight and long‑term portfolio value creation.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a high‑impact role working closely with executive leadership across both operational assets and future development projects.
The Opportunity Reporting directly to the CEO, you will take ownership of a substantial property portfolio and provide strategic leadership across asset management, property operations, leasing strategy and stakeholder management.
The role will see you partnering closely with senior executives, operational leaders and external advisors to optimise performance, drive commercial outcomes and support the successful integration of new developments into the operational portfolio.
Driving asset performance and long‑term value across a mixed‑use portfolio
Leading and mentoring internal asset and property management teams
Overseeing leasing strategy, tenant mix and operational alignment
Managing asset business planning, forecasting and capital expenditure programmes
Overseeing governance, compliance, insurance and risk management matters
Managing relationships with legal, leasing, valuation and property consultants
Supporting development projects through operational readiness and transition phases
Providing executive‑level reporting and strategic recommendations to leadership
About You We are seeking an accomplished property professional with strong commercial acumen and demonstrated experience operating at a senior level within property investment, asset management or development environments.
You will bring:
Extensive experience across commercial, retail, mixed‑use or hospitality assets
Strong knowledge of asset management, leasing and property operations
Proven leadership capability with experience managing high‑performing teams
Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
Strong financial and analytical capability, including budgeting and asset performance reporting
A strategic mindset combined with hands‑on operational capability
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Property, Commerce, Finance, Law or a related discipline
Experience across diversified or mixed‑use portfolios will be highly regarded.
