Hospitals North is responsible for a broad range of healthcare services delivered within the Launceston General Hospital (LGH) and through eight regional Primary Health sites. The LGH is Tasmania's second largest hospital and the major referral centre for Northern Tasmania, providing inpatient and ambulatory services to Launceston and surrounding areas. Hospitals North is the largest employer in the region with approximately 3,800 staff.
Role
This role works in the Office of the Chief Executive, Hospitals North, to implement projects aligned with Hospitals North's strategic initiatives. It includes providing high level project support, offering guidance to relevant team members, and drafting documentation for projects related to Hospitals North's corporate services.
Responsibilities
* Project manage and implement strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders for the successful delivery of outcomes.
* Provide support and coordination to ensure project activities adhere to Agency policies, core business functions and relevant legislation, identifying risks and issues and supporting meetings and negotiations.
* Provide high-level advice on complex and contentious issues that impact or are impacted by project activities and contribute to solution development.
Details of Appointment
Permanent full‐time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight.
Salary
$107,899 to $122,292 per annum, with a 12% superannuation contribution. The salary range is in accordance with Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award.
