We are seeking a seasoned bread artisan to join our team of skilled bakers.
About the Role:
* Oversee daily sourdough production for consistency and flavour quality.
* Prepare an assortment of artisan breads, including baguettes, dark rye, and ciabatta, adhering to high standards of craftsmanship.
* Create viennoiserie items like croissants and Danish pastries, showcasing expertise.
* Manage inventory of baking ingredients for optimal freshness and quality while minimizing waste.
* Mentor and train apprentices and junior bakers in best practices.
* Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess at least 2 years of full-time experience as a qualified baker, demonstrate consistent skills in sourdough and specialty bread making, and exhibit above-average workplace speed and accuracy.
