Ausgrid is seeking candidates for the Bright Spark Apprentice Program starting January 2027, providing a 4-year apprenticeship in various electrical trades in the Newcastle & Central Coast Area.
Participants will receive competitive pay, educational support, and mentorship while gaining hands-on experience in maintaining overhead lines, installing underground cables, and working on substations. The program is open to school leavers, women starting a trade, or career changers.
Applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents and have finished Year 10 by the end of 2026.
