About the role
We have an exciting chance for a qualified Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Mental Health Social Worker to join Clear Thinking Mental Health Group in Ballarat, Victoria. The option for full time, part time or ongoing contractor role will see you providing high-quality mental health services and support to our growing client base in a friendly and collaborative environment. We recently opened a new clinic in Delacombe with rooms available at both our Alfredton and Delacombe clinics. A range of interesting work is available and we offer free parking and great facilities at both sites.
What you'll be doing
1. Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and providing evidence-based psychological interventions for individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges
2. Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs
3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to client care
4. Maintaining detailed client records and preparing reports as required
5. Participating in regular supervision and professional development activities
What we're looking for
1. Registration as a Psychologist, Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or accreditation as a Mental Health Social Worker
2. Experience providing therapy/psychological services and support in a mental health setting
3. Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills, with a strong understanding of evidence-based therapies
4. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
5. Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to continuously improve clinical practice
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
