Your Qualifications, Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification and/or post-graduate qualification in Museum Studies, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent Experience in a similar role in the gallery and museum sector Experience in the administration of collections management databases and other information systems such as Axiell EMu or equivalent and Digital Asset Management Systems (DAMS) Experience in the principles of digital collection asset management, including digitising collection material and acquisition of born-digital material Understanding of the architecture and design of databases and procedures for backing up and recovering data Understanding the role of collection information systems across a diverse collection and multidiscipline organisation Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience in national and international principles, practices, standards and ethics relating to the documentation and management of cultural collections Experience in project management, organisation and planning skills; proven ability to manage competing deadlines, work on multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects to tight deadlines and within budget Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including written and oral Proven experience with and understanding of current technology, operating systems and applications Current drivers' licence desirable About the Team The Collections business unit sits within the Performing Arts pillar and is responsible for delivering a breadth and range of exhibitions that meet ACM's curatorial framework objectives.

This exciting role sits at the intersection of culture and technology, where you'll play a key part in accurately maintaining our extensive performing arts collections.
In this position, you will utilise your technical expertise to oversee the day-to-day operation of the collections management systems, ensuring that they function as the Collections central source of truth for knowledge and data.
You will lead exhibition-related data analysis and support statutory reporting, including asset management obligations, collection audits and valuations.
Working with the Collections Manager, you will develop and implement best practice strategies to ensure the integrity of our systems is maintained.
