About the role
Carlton Street Early Learning is seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to join our team in Hobart, Tasmania. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring our early learning centres maintain the highest standards of quality and compliance with all relevant regulations and industry best practices.
What you'll be doing
* Developing strong relationships with children, families and educators at our services
* Developing strong relationships with Centre Directors and non-contact staff
* Act as the delegate of the Approved Provider (Working Director) ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, including National Law, State and Territory regulations, WHS, National Child Safe Principles and Carlton Street policies.
* Oversee staff training and professional development programs
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement strategic initiatives
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies as required
* Provide expert advice and guidance to the management team
* Lead stakeholder engagement including community and the Early Learning sector
What we're looking for
* Substantial experience in a quality and compliance management role within the early childhood education and care sector
* Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework, relevant legislation and regulatory standards
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Tertiary qualifications in early childhood education
* Ability to drive continuous improvement through QIP oversight, audits and working with centre leadership teams
* Commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and compliance
