Truck Maintenance Technician
We are seeking a skilled Truck Maintenance Technician to join our team in Warwick, QLD. As a key member of our workshop crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain and service vehicles in a roadworthy condition
* Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to reduce breakdowns
* Complete documentation related to NHVAS procedures
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
* Test parts using computer assistance
* Respond to vehicle breakdown calls
* Work efficiently within a team environment and meet deadlines
* Assist in training apprentices and ensure their development as skilled tradespeople
* Care for plant, tools, and machinery used in the workplace
* Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety procedures and company policies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Ability to perform mechanical tasks with minimal supervision
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and make independent decisions
* Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills and teamwork experience
* Driver's license (HR or HC desirable)
* Proven knowledge of automotive air-conditioning
* Preferred certified Tradesperson, Heavy Vehicle Road Transport Certificate III or Diesel Fitter qualifications and experience
